STEPHONE & PAULA PAIGE
Former Kansas City Chiefs NFL Player and his Wife
Stephone Paige was raised in Southern California and moved to the San Joaquin Valley to attend Fresno State University. Paige joined the Fresno State University Bulldogs football team and became a standout wide receiver setting a Cal Bowl record that earned him MVP of the game with 15 receptions for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns. As an undrafted free agent, before the 1983 season, he began an illustrious career spanning 10 seasons with the National Football Leagues’ Kansas City Chiefs. His most notable NFL career highlights include setting a Chiefs single-game record with 8 catches for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns, 10 receptions for 210 yards on Monday Night Football as well as catch a career high 65 passes for over 1,000 yards. In 1997, Stephone was honored with the induction into the Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame and the Hall of Fame for Junior Colleges in 2001.
Stephone is married to his lovely wife of 40 years, Paula A. Paige. Together they are passionate about giving back to the community and surrounding areas. Paula utilizes her expertise in the Finance/Banking industry by volunteering as a facilitator for Better Money Habits, mentoring up-and-coming teammates and other philanthropic organizations. Stephone often participates in speaking engagements, mentoring to youth groups and organizations and being active with Youth Football Camps where he teaches football skills.

Stephone and Paula enjoy family meet-up trips, playing UNO and Dominoes, and riding their electric bikes around the city. The Paige’s have three adult children Stephone II, Elon, and Brieon.
